Rep the land down under at this Sunday’s Aussie BBQ, taking place at The Bell House for the third year running. The Aussie BBQ brings the best Australian music over for a stateside tour; this weekend’s party marks the last date, after triumphant stands at SXSW and in LA. Doors open at 1pm with a free BBQ (veggie options included), and the music starts at 2pm with Traveller & Fortune, a folksy group from Adelaide. Thirteen bands in total, including super-chill Jonti from Sydney, Perth’s Voltaire Twins, and Aussie-to-NYC electro rockers WAZU will be playing half-hour sets–expect near-nonstop music, charming accents and the chance to make lots of shrimp-on-the-barbie jokes.
