New Mural Brightening Up DUMBO

By

Gone is the boring flat green of Pearl Street Triangle –the painted plaza next to the Manhattan Bridge archway where Pearl Street and Anchorage Place meet–the little chunk of land is now home to bright colors and bold lines. Artist David Ellis is sprucing up DUMBO’s previously drab lunch-and-people-watching-hangout with a colorful mural. Usually a bustling corner with tables, the area has been closed down while it gets a makeover. But fret not, because the tables will return and the area will reopen as soon as the artwork is complete and sealed.
