Restaurants and bars around Williamsburg and Greenpoint have actually gotten a bump in traffic with the L and G train out of order (the G is back now!) and locals staying put and eating in the neighborhood. To give back, they’re participating in Dine Out Williamsburg all day on Thursday, Nov. 8, by donating 10-20% of gross receipts to The Red Cross. Participants include Best Pizza, Diner, Forcella, Gwynnett St., Lady Jay’s, Marlow & Sons, Parish Hall, Pies ‘n’ Thighs, Rye, Vine Wine, The Brooklyn Star, The Meatball Shop, Reynard, Champion Coffee, The Manhattan Inn and Cafe Colette, full list here.
