It’s that time of year again–awards season, and the Golden Globes are up next. But don’t watch it at home alone, cause that’s no fun! Watch it in Videology’s new screening room while sipping on beer and rubbing elbows with comedians Maggie Ross and Shannon Coffey during the commercials. The duo will be providing commentary during the breaks while you wait for the former SNL team of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, hosts of this year’s award ceremony. The fun starts at 6pm for red carpet coverage, Golden Globe trivia, prizes, nomination voting ballots, drink specials and some “celebrity” guests.

There’s something I’ve always found vaguely unsatisfying about short story collections, even by authors I adore. The luxury of a novel, for me, is to sink into a fictional world for an extended period of time and to fall in love with the characters I meet there. Short stories don’t allow enough time for that, […]
This summer Nate went to a camp with no microwave. It was a beautiful, earthy, spirited camp but it was nonetheless a camp at which Nate could not heat up the only three lunches he eats: hot dogs, pizza and pasta. We were left with one option: peanut butter (actually soynut butter since camp forbade […]
