Mario the Magician is not your typical magician. (Is any magician typical?) Mario spent his teens and early 20s hitchhiking around the country, herding sheep (yep, you read that right), making friends, playing music, and mastering his magic craft. This Saturday afternoon he’ll be giving a very special performance at The Bell House opening for Brooklyn-based children’s band, Tim and the Space Cadets. Mario’s been known to include his beloved dove, Mozzarella, in his act, in addition to performing some amazing card tricks and making things disappear before your very eyes. He’s also crafty, builds his own magic tricks, and keeps a blog detailing many of his creations, The Suitcase Machine. Tickets are just $12 or $10 each for a family of four.
