We’ve teamed up with Brooklyn Brewery on a monthly storytelling series called Funny Story, hosted by comedian, Tom Shillue. Here’s the formula: Each month Tom and his team of comic geniuses find a few funny people with stories to tell, and so do we. His are comedians, ours are regular Brooklyn folk–chefs, bar owners, entrepreneurs–with narrative flair and well developed sense of humor.
Thursday, Feb. 21, join us at the Brewery to hear Mara Wilson (who you may remember as the diminutive star of Matilda); Jason Fried–the co-founder of The Shed, a storytelling salon in Red Hook; and Jonathan Schnapp, an owner of the soon-to-open Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club, among others. Tickets include a beer and all the laughs you can stand.
