A Little Something Smoky, a Little Something Sweet

By

Our friends at SideTour have a particularly spring-tacular line-up of classes and experience to choose from this week. On Thursday, April 11, head to Fort Greene to decode the myths and mysteries of mezcal in a private tasting with Chantal Martineau, a spirits nerd and travel writer who has a book coming out about the smokey spirit. Mezcal is similar to tequila, but smoky and complex with a fascinating history. This is the perfect class to up your summer cocktail game. If you go in more for the sweet stuff, on Sunday, April 14, there’s an opportunity to explore beekeeping at Eagle Street Rooftop Farms in Greenpoint with the fabulous Annie Novak. Learn about urban farming and beekeeping while marveling at the stunning views from the farm.
