The friendly folks over at Heritage Radio are throwing the most delicious fundraiser in town next weekend on Sunday, Aug. 11 and we’ve got a special for BB readers. The first five people to buy tickets get a 25% discount to The Whole Hog Roast and Food Art Auction, when you use the code: Brooklyn. Tickets are $95 or $150, depending on whether you go standard or VIP. There’s going to be tons of food and drink and a raffle for an amazing, food-centric trip to Seattle, and an silent auction for some sweet food-inspired art, as well.
More about that food and drink. The luau starts with hors d’oeuvers from Roberta’s Catering and then it’s on to pitmaster Daniel Delaney of Delaney BBQ, slow cooking a Heritage Foods USA hog.
Chris Bradley of Untitled, Kyle Knall of Maysville, and the Court St. Grocers crew will provide the sides and La New Yorkina will cap the night with their signature frozen treats. The Anfora restaurant team will be mixing cocktails, and Empire Brewing Company will be the exclusive beer sponsor.
