Are you a bisque buff, a gumbo guy, a minestrone maven or a freak for French onion? With more than 25 restaurants participating in this weekend’s Fourth Annual Festivale des Soupes, odds are that you’ll be able to track down your favorite soup and get a chance to try some new kinds that you never even knew you liked. Smith Street foodie destinations, including Lunetta, Hunter’s, Stinky Brooklyn, Dassara, and Seersucker, will be ladling up four-ounce. samples all afternoon as part of a soup crawl to help fund the culinary arts program at the nearby High School for International Studies.  As in years past, a panel of celebrity judges will award gold, silver and bronze ladles to the best soups in show. You can pick up tickets–at $5 for 5 tastings, $10 for 12 tastings or $20 for 25 tastings–at tables manned by the high school students on Smith Street at Bergen, Butler or President streets beginning at 1pm Oct. 19.
