Over the last two years, Made in NY Media Center by IFP has brought you programs dedicated to keeping the most creative media and tech talent engaged right here in NYC. Developed through a unique partnership between the Independent Filmmaker Project, The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment and the New York City Economic Development Corporation, The Media Center has been a hub where entrepreneurs from film, video, gaming, technology and more create, collaborate, connect and incubate across a spectrum of programs, events, and experiences.

To celebrate their second anniversary this coming October, the Media Center is throwing a month-long festival dedicated to a series of cutting-edge programs that keep you informed of the latest storytelling trends, strengthen your professional skills, and grow your network. Specifically, they are hosting an interactive VR experience, a screening and listening party with artist-in-residence DJ Spooky, high impact leadership classes, a founder’s happy hour, an immersive hackathon with cash prizes and more.
