Sarah Smile

When Sarah Silverman performed a show at BAM last year, it sold out too fast for us to include it in the Tip Sheet. Not so this year. The superstar comedian is performing as part of BAM & IFC’s Get It Out There, a comedy showcase that is, amazingly, first-come-first-served and completely free. The idea behind Get It Out There, which takes place at 9pm on selected Wednesdays this fall, is to give comics a chance to experiment with new and untested material for audiences who are interested in bearing witness to the process. Before she appears at the Eugene Mirman Comedy Festival later in the week, Silverman will be joined on Wednesday by Katina Corrao, the Lucas Brothers, Brent Sullivan, and host Nick Turner on the stage at BAMCafe.  Doors open at 8pm, but capacity is strictly limited to 300 so we suggest arriving early and staking out a spot in line.
