Brooklyn Pride is back this Saturday with celebrations all day long. Start at the street festival at Bartel-Pritchard Circle (Prospect Park West & 15th St.) from 11-6 with food, performances, fun for kiddos, and an early 5K run for the motivated, then get your drink on with happy hour specials at 5th Ave. bars like Excelsior and Ginger’s and restaurants from 5-7, catch the evening parade along 5th Ave. from 14th St. to Sterling Pl. starting at 7:30pm, and cap off the night at one of the many after parties. There’s one at Lowlands in Gowanus starting at 9pm with drink specials and food all night, the Post-Parade Pride Party at the Brooklyn Lyceum with DJs, a cash bar and prizes, sponsored by the Brooklyn Community Pride Center (tickets are $15 adv./$20 day of), and all the way in the Burg, Amber will be performing live at Sugarland and Metropolitan will be packed too.
