This year marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, and while it’s incredibly sad that we are not able to celebrate it together outside, the Prospect Park Alliance is moving their annual Earth Day Celebration celebration online! There will also be opportunities for solo explorations of the park, home to Brooklyn’s only lake and last remaining forest.
There will be all-ages nature games and activities, Alliance Forest Ecologist Howard Goldstein will drop some tree knowledge, and you can sign up for a Green-and-Go volunteer kit to help keep the park green and vibrant.
