Lovers of “real” cocktails know gin is the classic component of all good drinks, and at 6:30 tonight at the Old Stone House you can delve even deeper into its history with food historian Sarah Lohman. In her tasting of four gin cocktails, you’ll go from past concoctions to modern distillations made locally, while noshing on 1880s bar food like Pickled Walnuts, Mushroom Ketchup, and Beef Tongue. Proceeds from the $45 tickets benefit the Old Stone House and Washington Park.
