The Green Building, home to many a Brooklyn wedding, is now adding public performances to its calendar of events. This new side of the Gowanus venue is called Gowanus Art + Production, and it’s responsible for Wednesday and Thursday’s First Look Performance Series. Each night four different choreographers, whose credits include Dixon Place, H.T. Chen, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, and the Joyce SoHo, will present their work in the former brass foundry. The dancing, which draws upon a range of influences like Japanese gods and complacency in relationships, begins at 7pm (doors at 6:30), and tickets are $15.
