Photoville returns to the Dumbo waterfront

By

Wednesday is the first night of Photoville, the spectacular free annual photography exhibit that takes over a pop-up shipping container “village” placed along the Dumbo waterfront from now through September 24. Now in its sixth year, Photoville will exhibit the work of over 500 artists, and has a diverse lineup of additional events including nighttime film projections, hands-on workshops, panel discussions, food vendors and a beer garden. Opening night festivities include a special presentation by Talking Eyes Media’s Newest Americans, a photography project focused on the immigrant experience as reflected in the diverse student body at Rutgers University, Newark from 7-10pm.
