Stargazing is not something most city dwellers spend much time doing, but everyone is invited to spend the evening looking up on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at BAM. Starting at 7pm, sculptor Ken Nintzel will be leading a discussion about his new work, You Are Here, a series of life-size sculptures inspired by the constellations, which are currently on display in the Peter Jay Sharp Building. Attendees will then get a chance to check out the real star patterns that inspired Nintzel’s pieces as part of a guided stargazing tour taking place on the rooftop of BAM Fischer beginning at 8pm. The event is free, but space is limited, so get there early if you’d like a seat and bundle up.
