With the frigid winter season right around the corner and the temperature slowly declining to glove-and-hat-wearing degrees, we have to start thinking about how we’re gonna keep our bodies nice and warm in the coming months. One of the best ideas? Chili! This Sunday, The Diamond adds chili to their menu and they’re issuing a challenge to anyone who thinks they can make a better one, with a chili cookoff. To enter, contact the bar right away. Otherwise, for a $12 donation to the Occupy Sandy Relief Fund you can come to the bar, taste all of the chili, vote for your favorite, and have a pint of Hofstetten 1810 from the wooden barrel on the house. Also, all purchases of pints of Hofstetten 1810 ($8) will be donated to the relief fund.
