Maker Faire

By

The Maker Faire is taking over all 21 acres of the New York Hall of Science in Queens, a relic from the 1964 World’s Fair, this Saturday and Sunday. It’s the first time this festival has come to New York, so we don’t know quite what to expect. But with a life-size game of Mousetrap, a Bellagio-style fountain made of Mentos and Zero Coke, and a bunch of robots running around, all made by everyday tinkerers, do you really need further enticement? Ok then, 100 vendors from the BUST Craftacular will also have booths both days. And if you don’t have a child, bring a friend’s–the Family Pass is a super affordable option.
