Fire Breathing Fun

If you like fiery music, chocolate with a kick, spicy food, or events that entertain your kids and you, then your Saturday’s set. At Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s Chile Pepper Fiesta, you can hear seven bands from chile-loving nations, sample food from amateur chefs in the Brooklyn Chile Chocolate Takedown, get cooking demos from folks like Simon Glenn of pop-up Cajun BBQ fame, Tchoup Shop. Admission is $15, kids under 12 get in free. And since you’re in the neighborhood, bring some books to donate the Great American Book Drive at the Central Library, 10am to 3pm.
