Pitchfork Party

By

WILLIAMSBURG CMJ’s not the only game in town this week. Starting on Thursday night, Pitchfork is curating #Offline, its own three-day festival at Brooklyn Bowl. Acts include performers like the hotly-tipped Dominique Young Unique, loud-but-fun Times New Viking and Titus Andronicus, and TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek DJing; on Saturday, Fool’s Gold will be throwing a third anniversary party featuring A-Trak. Tickets are both cheap (each day is $10) and available for the daylong shows, making for an alluring alternative to the crush and craziness at CMJ venues.
