Surreal Saturday

By

PROSPECT HEIGHTS Brooklyn Museum’s Target First Saturdays series continues with a night of transcendent performances, conversations and workshops that tip their hat to the current Fred Tomaselli exhibition and the women Pop artists in Seductive Subversion. The night is chock full of options: you can hear musicians Laura Cantrell, the female sextet, Isle of Klezbos, and electronica outfit Wolf + Lamb; learn to collage; see Alice in Wonderland; hear Rick Moody discuss his book, The Four Fingers of Death; listen to Tomaselli dissect his work, and take a late-night tour of his solo show. For some of these events, you’ll need to show up at least a half hour in advance if you want to snag free tickets. The full schedule is here.
