Farm to Round Table

BOERUM HILL We’re lucky to live in a time where people are realizing how critical attention to agriculture is, but it’s important to figure out how this heightened focus can be used to make sure it’s sustainable. On Monday at the Commons, two farmers from very different communities will be speaking to this important issue; Eric Herm, the Texan author of Son of a Farmer, Child of the Earth, and MacArthur Genius Grant recipient and New Yorker Cheryl Rogowski will be joined by Judith LaBelle, president of farming-friendly organization Glynwood, and peak oil activist Dan Miner to discuss why they consider the issue to be crucial.
