WILLIAMSBURG With Manhattan’s much-loved Ukulele Cabaret now homeless, Brooklyn has stepped up to fill the uke-playing void, at least during the month of November. Former Ukulele Cabaret regular and uke star in her own right Bliss Blood is hosting a residency at Bruar Falls for the rest of November, bringing some of her favorite acts to North Brooklyn. On Sunday, the evening begins with Sonic Uke, who are equally likely to orchestrate a singalong to their “Ukuleles of Love” as they are to don hula skirts to pay homage to the origins of the ukulele; hostess Bliss Blood’s act Evanescent play at 9:15pm, followed by the Arizonan cover artistes Ukemen.
