CARROLL GARDENS To celebrate their new space, and warm up guests with the fiery goodness of pickled cabbage, Brooklyn Brainery is hosting a Kimchi Party from 2-7pm, where you can learn how to make this spicy Korean staple and other spinoffs like kimchi stew. They’ll have the cabbage, cucumbers, chili powder and other ingredients at the ready; you just need to arrive with a container to bring your cabbage home. Registration is recommended so they can stock up on supplies. Cost is just $5.
