You Can’t Go Home Again

BROOKLYN HEIGHTS In New York, sometimes it feels like nobody stays put for long – people move in and out of boroughs and the city on what seems like a near-constant basis. The new exhibition at the BRIC Rotunda Gallery reflects on this concept taken to its logical extreme. Neo-nomads: What travels with you? highlights the changing sense of what makes up a home through a variety of media; tonight, the gallery hosts an opening reception for the show. Works include McKendree Key’s cabin watercolor, Traci Talasco’s “Support System” structure, and Emily Henretta’s decaying “Decades” installation.
