One of the best films being screened in the city this week is being shown for free. On Tuesday at 6:30pm, the Brooklyn Public Library’s Central Library will be holding a screening of Fellini’s 1973 classic Amarcord. The film, alternately bawdy, emotional, and harsh, features a memorable cast of Italian villagers in 1930s fascist Italy, like the beautiful Gradisca and the man-eating Volpina, who should be even livelier in their rare trip to a big screen.
