From Italy to Japan

By

Italian restaurants are usually best-known for their takes on the humble pasta, from spaghetti and lasagna to rigatoni and ravioli, but for one seating a month, Smith Street’s Lunetta serves a whole different kind of noodle. On the day of the full moon each month, the restaurant, lauded in the New York Times for its warm atmosphere, turns into a ramen bar also serving Japanese beer, spicy chicken wings, and other Japanese-influenced dishes. This Saturday, the pop-up takes place during lunch service (11am-2pm); if you prefer your ramen in the evening, mark your calendar for the next pop-up, taking place on April 18th from 6-10pm.
