Tonight marks the premiere of the first of three Shakespeare plays to hit the stage at BAM this season. This irreverent retelling of the farcical The Comedy of Errors stars the UK all-male troupe Propeller and features all the typical Shakespearean comedic tropes like mistaken identity and cross-dressing,. There are still a handful of tickets left for the show, running through March 27, but in case you’d prefer your Shakespeare on the broodier side, the Heights Players will be holding their last performances of Hamlet Friday through Sunday.
