Community Kitchen

Break out of the midweek blahs by creating and consuming a delicious meal with new friends at the Community Cooking Club at 61 Local. Every month, participants are given recipes that feature seasonal, local ingredients (this month, eggs are the star of the show) and work together in small groups to make a dinner that will be shared by everyone at the end of the evening. The event runs from 6:30 to 8:30 and tickets, available for just $13, also include a talk by Red Hook chicken farmer Declan Walsh about keeping chickens and a short film screening on sustainable food.
