Momentus Benefit

By

Momenta Art, an artist-run non-profit that has championed and exhibited the work of emerging artists for the past 25 years, is in the process of moving from the ‘burg to Bushwick, and they’re hosting a preview of their annual spring benefit May 13-28 at the new space at 56 Bogart St., right off the Morgan stop on the L. (The hours are noon to 6, Thursdays-Sundays.) Over 100 artworks by emerging and established local artists, including Deborah BrownLoren Munk (aka James Kalm) and Austin Thomas will be raffled and silent auctioned on June 1 at Chelsea’s Loretta Howard Gallery, and a $200 ticket (or $250 starting May 13) entitles you to one artwork and admission for you and a guest to the event.
