Rooftop Films kicks off its 15th annual Summer Series this weekend at the Lower East side venue, Open Road Rooftop, where street artists have covered every surface of this high school roof in graffiti murals. In this picturesque setting, catch the world premiere of Freeloader, a black comedy written and directed by Brooklyn’s own Zachary Raines, about a Larry David-eque jerk who realizes the errors of his sarcastic ways, and stars BB friend John Siciliani. Tickets are $10 and include a live music by Emily Reo and an afterparty at Fontana’s.
