In recent years, food trucks have played host to some of the most innovative cooking and baking in the city. This Sunday, the Prospect Park Alliance is staging a rare convening of trucks at Grand Army Plaza, featuring a number of New York’s best. Familiar faces from all over the city will be present, ranging from Souvlaki GR’s pitch-perfect souvlaki , the Frying Dutchmen’s Belgian frites, and lobster rolls from Brooklyn’s own Red Hook Lobster Pound to desserts from the Treats Truck, Joyride, and Coolhaus. Expect long lines, lots of food, and satisfied stomachs.
