Get ready to rock: Brooklyn Bowl is hosting the Brooklyn Regional Competition of the 2011 US Air Guitar Championships at 8pm this Thursday. If you have been honing a flawless performance of the Slash solo in “November Rain” while you get ready for work in the morning, get in the spotlight, shredder! If you win, you get to go to Chicago in July to represent Brooklyn in the competition for the national crown. If you have no interest in performing, don’t fret – this is one event where it is probably even more fun to be a spectator. Tickets are $12.
