Festa di Fellini

Take dinner and a movie to a whole new level at this summer’s Fellini Al Fresco film series at Verde Coal Oven. The new kid on the Bushwick pizzeria scene will be screening a number of the Italian auteur’s masterpieces in their backyard every other Thursday through the end of September. Tonight, catch a sneak preview of the event with a showing of Fellini’s 1954 classic La Strada; the $20 cost includes a prix-fixe dinner that will be served at 8pm, and wine is just $3. They’ve only got space for 40 people, so reservations are required via email to fellinifest@gmail.com. Other must-see movie nights include La Dolce Vida on July 21^st, 8 ½ on August 4^th, and Amarcord on the series’ last night, September 29^th.
