Makin’ Bacon for a Good Cause

No summer is really complete without a pig roast, but most of us lack the gumption to pull it off ourselves, not to mention access to a proper hog pit. That’s why it’s so exciting when a pro like Lunetta chef/owner Adam Shepard does all the work for you! At 7pm this Monday, the restaurant will host its 2nd Annual Pig Roast to Fight Cancer. For $70, pig out on a multi-course spread, including dishes like baby artichoke and parmesan bruschetta, grilled trevisiano salad, and, of course, delicious stuffed and whole-roasted pork. An optional wine pairing is also available for an additional $30. Best of all, 100% of the proceeds raised will benefit cancer research through the Pan-Mass Challenge, a 200-mile charity bike ride in which Shepard himself participates every year.
