The BMW Guggenheim Lab–a pop-up think tank and public forum in one–opens today at Houston and 2nd Ave. with a Lab Cafe run by Bushwick favorite Roberta’s. Free lectures, experiments and events, centered around the core theme “Comfort in the City,” are scheduled throughout its three-month stay, including a tour that measures the effects of the city on your brain, a meditation series designed to spark creativity, and a lecture by architect Elizabeth Diller, whose MacArthur Prize-winning firm helped design the High Line.
