Steve’s Ice Cream is bringing three new beer-y flavors–Beer Pretzel Caramel, Maple Pecan Porter, and Brooklyn Blackout (made with cake by Ovenly)–to 61 Local on Saturday for an epic ice cream social. Every ice cream float you purchase throughout the day, made either with Kickstand Coffee, who’s arriving on wheels at 11, or the soda, drafts and kombucha at 61, enters you into a raffle for prizes from food artisans who’ll be in the house starting at 6pm, when you can also get free samples of the new flavors till 1am. (Prizes on the table include a knife skills class from Cut Brooklyn, coffee beans from Oslo, and a Brooklyn Butcher Block cutting board.) Winners will be announced at 11, when Sixpoint and Barrier Brewing will team up against the Brooklyn Home Brew Crew for a “pint” shuffleboard contest.
