Support emerging artists and get your culture fix at the Truffle Hunt New Play Festival, which concludes this weekend at 61 Local. The Truffle Theatre Company is presenting staged readings of six new plays from August 30 – September 4. Saturday’s play is intriguingly titled No. 731 Degraw-street, Brooklyn, or Emily Dickinson’s Sister, and is playwright Claudia Burnett‘s adaption of the true story of a murderous 19th century hat girl in Brooklyn. Tickets, which must be reserved online, are a steal at $10 for one show and $20 for 3 shows.
