Finger Licking Local

Although summer is on the wane, the good news is that this is actually the most bountiful time of the growing season–tomatoes and corn are still available and cooler weather crops you may remember from spring eating, like raspberries and peas, make another appearance before winter. What better way to celebrate the harvest than with an all-local dinner at Brooklyn Kitchen? Chef Kat Randazzo will prepare dishes from ingredients both grown and foraged, from around the five boroughs, including items from Eagle St Rooftop Farm, 1/10th acre farm, Brooklyn Grange and BK Farmyards, as well as Brooklyn-raised chickens and local beer. Friday, September 23, 6:30pm, tickets are $75, available here>>>
