To help fund the renovation of Williamsburg’s shuttered Engine 212 Firehouse into the Northside Town Hall Community and Cultural Center, nearly 50 North Brooklyn restaurants, bars, breweries, cafes and artisans will serve their food and drinks at the second annual TASTE Williamsburg Greenpoint benefit on the waterfront. Live bands complete the block party feel of the outdoor event, and a work of culinary performance art by Carrie Ahearn and butcher Andrew Dorsey of Marlow & Daughters takes the farm-to-table concept to a whole new level. Tickets for TASTE, which runs from 1 to 5, with discounted drinks till sunset, start at $35.
