In honor of the DUMBO Improvement District’s 5th anniversary, the organization has teamed up with food vendors from The Flea for a celebration on Friday within the historic, echo-riffic Archway under the Manhattan Bridge at Adams and Water St. The event runs from noon till 9, but since beer starts flowing at 3, and the first 500 to arrive get a free pint, you’ll want to hightail it here after work. Once there, you’ll also be the first to try Mile End’s smoked Peking Duck, which makes its debut on Friday, plus Landhaus BLTs and lamb burgers, Brooklyn Oyster Party shuckers, and Rachel’s Pies.
