Sexting, starring Julia Stiles, 21st century lie detectors, and intelligence in the Google age are all up for discussion Thursday night during Between the Lines at BAM. In the course of the evening, which brings together storytellers, philosophers and drinkers, guests including director Neil LaBute, law prof Adam Kolber, and writers Tim Wu and Emanuel Derman will all riff on the theme, “Think You’re Pretty Smart”—an examination of the way self-assurance and knowledge can guide some people toward success and send others on a downward spiral. The trio Moon Hooch will also play some pretty smart music.
