This Sunday, Huckleberry Bar will take care of all your comfort food needs at its 2nd Annual Mac-Off, a competition featuring that blissful side dish we all know and love: macaroni & cheese. If you think your rendition of the classic has what it takes to win, throw your hat in the ring for free by emailing info@theclaque.org. If your talents are more suited to judging, simply show up at 5pm with your palate ready to take down some cheesy noodles and drink specials. It’s $10 to eat, and all proceeds go to benefit The Claque, a local arts organization. If this doesn’t cure your end-of-the-weekend blues, you can get your comfort food fill at the 7th Annual Brooklyn Casserole Party at The Brooklyn Kitchen on Monday. It’s free, but the only way to sample all those Pyrex-dish creations is to enter and bring one yourself.
