There is something undeniably thrilling about seeing our hometown as the backdrop to a great TV series, and thanks to the implementation of strategic tax incentives in recent years, there are a record 23 shows currently filming in NYC for the 2011-2012 season. Tonight at 6:30pm, Long Island University’s Kumble Center for the Performing Arts is hosting a panel of directors and producers of New York-centric hits like Boardwalk Empire, Law & Order, and Gossip Girl for a presentation entitled Lights, Camera, Action: NY Keeping it Reel!
