Tonight, as part of the Largehearted Lit reading series, ‘90s rocker-turned-film composer Nathan Larson (of Shudder to Think, Boys Don’t Cry, and Velvet Goldmine) reads from his new novel The Dewey Decimal System at WORD. Composer Joshua Cody will also be reading, from his memoir [Sic]: A Memoir. The two will discuss music and its influence on their writing. There will also be wine and cupcakes – sweet potato cupcakes with toasted marshmallow frosting, and vegan pumpkin cupcakes with vanilla ‘butter’cream frosting to be exact, provided by Keisha Jenkins-Duffy of The Brooklyn Baker.
