This Friday, feel accomplished before most people have made it past their morning coffee with the Brooklyn Waterfront Research Center’s first Breakfast Talk. The new (free!) series combines coffee, a light breakfast, and some serious thought to wake you up. Evan Hughes, the author of Literary Brooklyn (which we reviewed here), kicks off the series on Friday with a talk on some of the authors he features in his book (like Walt Whitman and Hart Crane) and their relationship with the Brooklyn waterfront.
