From 2 on Sunday till midnight, warm up with The Flow Market, a day of demos, vendors, and performances of the “Flow Arts”–fire spinning, hula-hooping, juggling and other practices derived from dance, martial arts, and yoga. It’s in an outdoor heated space (The Floasis–1342-A Dekalb Ave. near Central Ave.) with hot drinks and DJs spinning all day (including DJ Tinseltown, Metagame and Slim Rockwell), and into the night, when the “Fire Variety Show” from 8-9pm will feature choreographed performances by top fire spinners. The event is free and donations are appreciated but not required.
