The Gowanus Canal Conservancy is throwing their first annual Winter Festival fundraiser at the brand-new outpost of salvage warehouse, Build It Green! A three-course meal from Lot 2, beer from Butternut and Captain Lawrence, and an excellent lineup of local bands (Amanda Palmer, The Suzan, Savoir Adore, and The Ambassadors) are all on the bill. You can choose which portion of the night you and your wallet are down for, and all proceeds directly benefit the conservancy’s volunteer program, composting, and rain garden projects.
