Brave New World Repertory is putting on a production of Thornton Wilder’s one-act play, The Long Christmas Dinner, a play spanning 90 years across multiple generations of the Bayard family. To make it extra-extraordinary, the members and cast of BNW are going to prepare an actual Christmas dinner for the audiences of their four performances on Sunday December 18th, immediately before the play at the Old Stone House of Brooklyn. With two different casts, you can see it twice in one day, and the only catches for all of this greatness are that you have to snag the tickets in person at noon on the day of, and tickets are distributed for the person in line only (so no tickets for friends). Considering both the dinner and the tickets to the play are free, however, it’s far beyond worth it.
